Information You Provide
The search forms on this site send what you enter, such as a name, phone number, or address, to the third-party provider that supplies the results. We do not store a copy of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting tools record standard server-log data, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the site and understand which Fresno County pages visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use the information described above to run the site, troubleshoot errors, measure traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell a visitor list, and we do not build individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to Fresno County and California records offices, court and voter portals, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each outside site has its own privacy rules, and information you submit there is governed by that site's policy, not ours. Sponsored search results are also provided by a third-party company.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose information if valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Because we do not offer user accounts, this site does not maintain a password-protected profile about you.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
California privacy context includes the California Consumer Privacy Act, as summarized by the California Attorney General, with rights involving access, deletion, correction, opt-out of sale or sharing, and limits on sensitive personal information. Because we hold very little, most requests are narrow: we can search our contact mailbox and server logs and remove what we find. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Fresno County offices, Fresno Superior Court, California agencies, or other custodians are outside our control; removal or correction requests for those records must go to the custodian. Public-record access is governed separately by the California Public Records Act, Government Code Division 10, Title 1, sections 7920.000-7931.000.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
